Diagnostic Analytical Coordinator (Inside Sales)

Position Purpose:  Focuses on customer transformer oil testing renewal and retention, establish good customer service relations to assist our customers with any questions or concerns, and grow respective territories to maintain a strong customer base.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Proactively contact existing testing customer base to coordinate renewal courier and mail-in oil testing.
  • Utilize the communication process tool to better understand the customer’s needs.
  • Clearly promote all services related to the customer’s need to maximize the customer’s ability to make proper decisions.
  • Proactively contact former customer opportunities to re-sell services.
  • Work with field technician’s scheduling team to efficiently schedule courier work as needed.
  • Utilize the current CRM (Sales Force) as a tool to record daily customer activity, such as opportunity statuses (wins/losses), competitor activities, and follow u
  • Work closely with other sales groups through impact leads to promote new business growth within respective territo
  • Other duties as assigned. 

Education and Experience:    

  • High school
  • Must possess a minimum of 1-2 years sales experience in addition to previous work experience, preferably in customer service and/or retail setting.
  • Database experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

  • Knowledge of transformer maintenance and/or electric industry.
  • Must have a strong customer service orientation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn/use company’s CRM tools.
  • Excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work independently and problem solve.
  • Strong initiative, team building, meeting deadlines and follow through skills.
  • Ability to understand the marketplace, the competition and how the competitors operate.
  • Ability to learn, understand, and put into practice the components of the sales and communication process tool.
