Lab Online is a free service from S.D. Myers designed to help you manage your electrical equipment and maintenance test data faster and easier than ever before.
 
Since 1965, S. D. Myers has been testing transformers and building an unparalleled knowledge base in the area of preventative maintenance and analytical services. Innovations such as our Rainbow test report, introduced in 1985, has become a standard for our industry because of it’s easy to use and understand format of color-coded sections containing comprehensive test data and recommendations. With Lab Online, every customer of S. D. Myers Analytical lab services now has access to all of their transformer test data via the internet as soon as testing is complete.

>> How is Lab Online different from other software and web based products on the market?

Lab Online is FREE to all S. D. Myers’ Lab customers. It is not just a report that displays test data, but an interactive data management system that allows you to organize all of your transformer and related electrical equipment maintenance information in one place. In addition, there is no need to worry about the data being lost as it is backed up automatically and, is simple to access. Upon completion of a testing order, an email will be sent with a system generated password for you to access your test data.

>> How it works:

 Oil samples get mailed to SDMI’s Analytical Laboratory.

 SDMI tests the oil based on the tests and/or packages selected.

 Lab results and recommendations are completed and uploaded to our secure web server.

 Customer receives an email notifying you that testing is complete and the results are ready to be viewed (link to Lab Online is provided. plus username and password is included).

 Customer clicks the link on the email and arrives at Lab Online.

 Customer inputs their username and password.

 Customer can view the test results and recommendations, sort and filter the equipment list, print and save reports, enter comments and view equipment pictures.

>> System Requirements and Recommendations:

Requirements include a computer with web access and Adobe Acrobat Reader, available from www.adobe.com. A color printer is recommended (but not required) for printing rainbow reports in color. We also recommend having the latest version of Internet Explorer, available from www.microsoft.com/ie. Finally, for the best user experience, we recommend a high-speed internet connection.
